What to look for in a layout
- Space efficiency: how much of the floor area is usable room, and how much is corridor, bay window or planter.
- Room shapes: box-shaped rooms are easier to furnish than angled ones.
- Kitchen design: open, enclosed, or with a glass partition option.
- Bedroom separation: a "dumbbell" layout keeps bedrooms apart for privacy.
