What changes
Before Stage 6, the Circle Line was a “C” shape: trains ran between Dhoby Ghaut / Marina Bay and HarbourFront along the northern arc. Travelling between Marina Bay and HarbourFront meant a transfer or a long detour.
Stage 6 adds three stations:
| Station | What’s nearby |
|---|---|
| Keppel | Keppel Distripark, the future Greater Southern Waterfront |
| Cantonment | Tanjong Pagar, Outram, the Pinnacle@Duxton area |
| Prince Edward Road | Southern Marina Bay, the Downtown core |
With the loop closed, trains can run the full circle, and every station, including Lorong Chuan (CC14), gets two directions to reach most destinations.
Why it matters for One Chuan Grove
- More direct job access. Tanjong Pagar, Keppel and the Greater Southern Waterfront join one-north, Paya Lebar and the Marina Bay area on a single line.
- Resilience. If one direction is disrupted, you can go the other way round.
- Rental appeal. Tenants working in the southern CBD and at the growing waterfront now have a direct line home.
Lorong Chuan’s place on the network
Lorong Chuan sits on the northern arc, one stop from Serangoon (NEL) and one stop from Bishan (NSL). With the full loop, residents can reach three MRT lines within one stop and the entire Circle Line without a transfer.
